“It’s real for us.”
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J. K. Rowling, page 666

Harry Potter Q&A: Reblog with your own answers.

Your house: Slytherin! Conniving git that I am. Slytherin is the best of cunningness and cleverness. When I was a kid I would say I was more keen on Ravenclaw but let’s be honest - I bleed emerald and silver, baby.

Your favorite character from the trio: Ronald Weasley.

Six other favorite characters: Remus Lupin, Nymphadora Tonks, Ginny Weasley, Neville Longbottom, Harry Potter, Severus Snape.

Least favorite character: Peter Pettigrew. Waste of space.

Favorite book: Prisoner of Azkaban

How you were introduced to the series: I had always been a big “reader” as a child, so when the books came out I had no interest in them because they were trendy. My mother had even read the books before I did. It wasn’t until I was assigned to read them (in 6th grade) that I started the series and fell in love with it. By the time our class finished the first book as a group, I had gone through the rest of the available series, started writing fanfiction and played in (then later started my own) RPG. I often told people I wouldn’t get in fights over who was a bigger Harry Potter fan because I would, undoubtedly, win. I am still certain I can beat out many folk in the contest. By the time the movies came around I was full blown obsessed and even spent my birthday glued to the live broadcast of the premiere in London. The series has been such a lovely influence on my life that it’s so sad to see it “end” in a way.
